Hunter X Hunter

Hi guys, the next anime I'll be talking about is one of my favourite shonen (male teenage target audience) anime's, Yoshihiro Togashi's Hunter X Hunter. Their are two versions of this anime, one that aired in 1999 till 2001 and a re-boot one that started airing last year. The remake has been dulled down in violence to accommodate for a younger audience and has cut out all the filler episodes. The story follows a teenaged boy who's on a quest to become a Hunter to find his father who abandoned him as a baby. A hunter is an elite member of society who finds treasures, wild beasts and other people. To become a Hunter "Gon" must go through many physical and mental challenges to show his worth.
